• The follicular units (each containing one to three hairs) are extracted from the scalp (back of the head) using a circular scalpel (micro punch) that is one millimetre in diameter.
• Then they are prepared for transplantation using a stereomicroscope, by removing the skin around the follicle.
• With a pen implanter (medical tool), that allows the control of a precise depth, of a proper angle (from 10 degrees to 45 degrees) and of a specific direction for each follicle implanted, your doctor can reproduce your natural hair pattern.
