HAIR TRANSPLANTATION : FUE, FUE unshaven, FUT (strip)

• The hair ransplant is a surgical intervention performed with the most adavanced technology.

Technical FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)

• The FUE technique consists in extracting the follicular units individually from the donor area, then implanting them in the receiving area.
• It is necessary to shave the patient's hair in order to collect a high number of follicular units.
• FUE technique "unshaven": without shaving the entire head.

Technique FUT (Strip)

• Surgical removal of a strip of scalp (one centimeter wide by 15-20 centimeters long), which contains the hair follicles to be transplanted into the recipient area
• Using a trichophytic suture that leaves an imperceptible scar.
• This technique makes it possible to obtain a large number of follicles for transplantation, so to treat extensive alopecia.
• It is generally used in women, and in men who do not want to shave their hair, since it does not require shaving.

• The final cosmetic result is achieved 12-15 months after the intervention.
